State Level Agencies and Laws Protecting Consumers against Robocalls, Telemarketers, and Debt Collection Calls in Nebraska:

  • Nebraska Telephone Consumer Protection Act: The Nebraska Telephone Consumer Protection Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 86-2301 to § 86-2310) prohibits unsolicited robocalls and text messages to consumers without their prior consent.
  • Nebraska No-Call List: Nebraska offers a No-Call List (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 86-2901 to § 86-2908) that allows consumers to register their phone numbers to reduce unwanted telemarketing calls. To register, visit https://nocall.nebraska.gov or call 1-888-382-1222.
