State Level Agencies and Laws Protecting Consumers against Robocalls, Telemarketers, and Debt Collection Calls in Nevada:

  • Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 599B: Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 599B covers the regulation of telephone solicitations, telemarketing, and do-not-call lists in the state.
  • Nevada Do Not Call List: Nevada offers a Do Not Call List that allows consumers to reduce unwanted telemarketing calls. To register, visit https://ag.nv.gov/Do_Not_Call/ or call 1-888-434-8158.
  • Nevada Deceptive Trade Practices Act: The Nevada Deceptive Trade Practices Act (NRS Chapter 598) safeguards consumers from deceptive trade practices, including those involving telemarketing scams.
